Dennison Depot was the site of a famous WWII Servicemen's Canteen that served 1.5 million GI's, and was nicknamed "Dreamsville." The restored 1873 Pennsylvania Railroad Depot now houses a museum with exhibits that fill the original Women's Waiting Room, baggage room, ticket office, and Railway Express building.
The Quaker Cinema is dedicated to bringing our community 1st Run movies at an affordable price. Our theater has a rich history of providing local entertainment for more than seven decades. The Quaker Cinema was the first theater built exclusively for movies in Tuscarawas County. Originally, one massive screen in a 800+ seat auditorium made the headlines on our opening day which was November 1st, 1940. Later, during the 1980's, the Quaker Cinema was converted into a two screen theater to provide more than one movie option.
The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County is non-profit community theatre dedicated to providing live theatre to the people of Tuscarawas County and beyond. The Little Theatre has a rich history of high quality performances featuring talented actors, actresses, directors, and support staff from right here in the Tuscarawas County area.
The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts is organized for the purpose of providing educational and cultural opportunities to encourage participation in and appreciation of arts and cultural programs among residents of Tuscarawas and surrounding counties. It will serve as a focal point to promote, operate and program local arts and cultural programs.
